When he worked as a priest, he often said, "If we are not in the business of healing, we are not in business." The Catholic Church he knows is not in business. The story of this book will tell the impossibility of finding healing in the Church and why he had to leave the Church to be healed.

More than 120 letters written by Benjamin Douglas Kendall, Jeffrey Kendall's great-, great-grandfather, when he served in the Army of Northern Virginia have been preserved.
William Kendall, Jeffrey Kendall's father, did the initial work on the letters, and based on his work, Jeffrey Kendall made several fascinating discoveries that deserved to be recorded for history.
He has written a book, which is a historical analysis of the letters, but is considering turning that book into a work of non-fiction.
